These changes reflect a more focused approach that increases clarity, aligns with long-term value and brings tangible benefits to all users. Key updates:
1. Simplifying Our LST Offerings
To make it easier for our community and investors to choose the right staking option, we are reducing our LST offerings to just two core products: QSD and QRT. This streamlines the choices while still offering a range of risk-reward profiles that cater to both conservative and growth-oriented investors. The new Risk-Reward Dynamics displayed hereunder:
- QSD: Designed for those looking for a more stable, conservative investment. QSD now offers a fixed 15% yield (10% in USDC and 5% in AQTIS tokens), with a maximum downside risk of -10%. As you begin earning yield, your overall risk decreases, as the price floor remains at $0.90 while your yield continues to grow daily.
- QRT: For those seeking higher potential returns, QRT now combines the same fixed yield as QSD with an additional variable yield based on quant performance. QRT holders will benefit from a potential +45% upside, with downside risk capped at -30%. In order to strengthen the connection to our Quant Performance, QRT’s variable yield will now be directly tied to the performance of our quant technology. We’re making this connection clearer by dedicating 50% of our quant performance to QRT holders based on the current TVL on this LST. Quant performance will be presented quarterly, with rewards added to a pool where users can track its growth after each quarterly update. If the quant performance is zero or negative, no rewards will be added for that period. The accumulated benefits will be distributed to users at the end of a one-year period based on how much QRT the user holds and for how long.
2. qETH Holders
To maintain our commitment to clarity and transparency, we are providing each qETH holder with the flexibility to make an informed decision about their holdings. You will have the choice to either redeem your ETH or convert it into QSD or QRT, depending on your preferences and investment strategy. This approach ensures that you have full control over your assets and can tailor your investments to best meet your needs.
3. Removing the 4% Transaction Tax
We are eliminating the 4% transaction tax on all AQTIS trades. This change will improve liquidity, making it easier for users to trade and engage with the ecosystem without worrying about extra fees.
4. Transitioning to a Deflationary AQTIS Model
To ensure the long-term value and sustainability of AQTIS, all these changes lead AQTIS token to a deflationary model. Regular buybacks using quant profits will reduce the circulating supply of AQTIS tokens, increasing scarcity and value over time. In addition to simplifying the LSTs structure, we are highlighting the importance of AQTIS Token holders and bringing value to them.
